How to Use Our Nano-Ceramic Metal Coating
Ensure your boat's aluminum surfaces achieve exceptional protection and shine with this revolutionary nano-ceramic metal coating. Follow these steps for optimal results:
Step 1: Surface Preparation
-
Clean Thoroughly:
- Wash the aluminum surface using soap and water to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants.
- Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.
-
Remove Oxidation and Corrosion:
- If the aluminum is dull or corroded, use an aluminum cleaner or oxidation remover to prepare the surface.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly to ensure no residue remains.
Step 2: Application
-
Shake the Product:
- Shake the bottle well to ensure the coating is evenly mixed.
-
Apply the Coating:
- Use a clean suede applicator pad or a foam applicator.
- Apply a small amount of the coating onto the applicator.
- Work in small sections, spreading the coating evenly in a crisscross pattern to ensure complete coverage.
-
Allow the Coating to Bond:
- Let the coating sit for 1 minute (time may vary depending on temperature and humidity) until a slight haze forms.
-
Buff the Surface:
- Using a clean microfiber towel, gently buff the surface to remove excess coating and reveal a high-gloss finish.
Step 3: Curing Process
- Allow the coating to cure for 24-48 hours before exposing the surface to water or heavy use.
- For best results, avoid touching or contaminating the surface during the curing period.
Step 4: Maintenance
-
Routine Cleaning:
- Wash the coated surface with soap and water only.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes, as they can degrade the coating.
-
Inspect Regularly:
- Periodically check for signs of wear and reapply as needed to maintain protection and gloss.
Pro Tips:
- Work in a shaded area or indoors to avoid direct sunlight during application.
- Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.
- Store remaining product in a cool, dry place for future use.
Note: Multiple bottles may be provided based on the order size (e.g., a 500mL order is fulfilled with five 100mL bottles).
