Koch Chemie Awh Alkali Wheel Cleaner is a powerful, alkaline wheel cleaner with exceptional dirt-cleaning power. Using a complex combination of special dirt carriers and an alkaline solution, the dirt resulting from your brake pads is quickly dissolved and dispersed. The wheel and barrel will be cleaned with one application.

Koch Chemie Awh Alkali Wheel Cleaner can be used on steel wheels and painted aluminum wheels. It is NOT to be used on raw aluminum, chrome or anodized wheels.

Koch chemie Awh Alkali Wheel Cleaner can be used in a IK Foamer or a spray bottle. It has a 14.0 ph so it does need to be diluted. It can be diluted 2 parts water to 1 part Awh for the strongest cleaning power all the way up to 10 parts water to 1 part Awh for light cleaning. We recommend around 5:1 for good all round cleaning.

How to Use:

Dilution Recommendations:

  • Strong Cleaning Power: Dilute 2:1 (2 parts water to 1 part Awh).
  • Light Cleaning: Dilute 10:1 (10 parts water to 1 part Awh).
  • General Use: Recommended dilution is 5:1 (5 parts water to 1 part Awh).

Application Methods:

1. Using an IK Foamer:

  1. Mix the diluted solution in your IK Foamer according to the desired strength.
  2. Apply foam evenly over the wheels, ensuring full coverage of the wheel face and barrel.
  3. Allow the product to dwell for 2–3 minutes (do not let it dry).
  4. Agitate with a wheel brush if necessary.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

2. Using a Spray Bottle:

  1. Fill the spray bottle with the diluted solution.
  2. Spray generously onto the wheels, covering all surfaces.
  3. Let it dwell for 2–3 minutes (avoid letting it dry).
  4. Scrub with a wheel brush or mitt if needed.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with water.
